Vinings is it’s own designated town had a total population of 9,734, located just outside the Chattahoochee River from Atlanta proper. It is located between the affluent West Paces Ferry section of in northwest Atlanta, and the city of Smyrna. Early on, the area was knows as Crossroads, then changed to Paces, and now Vinings. it’s final name. It was named Vinings when it became the construction station for the railroad. It was officially recognized a community in 1904 when a bridge was built across the Chattahoochee.
Vinings is an affluent area with homes ranging from upscale single family homes to very trendy urban intown condominiums and townhomes. Restaurants and shopping area never far with the large center station of Vinings and the many live-work-play communities popping up all around. Vinings Jubilee sits in the heart of Vinings with many great restaurants and boutiques, as well as a large clock tower.
