The application for an alcoholic beverage license from Hyde Brewing was approved by Milton City Council on January 16, making it the city’s first brewpub. A brewpub is a hybrid between a restaurant and a brewery, where beer is primarily brewed for sale inside the establishment. The major difference between brewpubs and breweries is that breweries will produce more beer annually and will not include food services. Licenses for on-premises Sunday sales and residential catering were also sought by Hyde Brewing. They plan to partner with Ceviche Taqueria, a popular restaurant in Alpharetta and Roswell, to incorporate some menu items with an emphasis on local brewing, along with live music, making it a new go to spot for gathering in Milton. Opening spring/summer 2024, Hyde Brewing is located in the Market District of downtown Milton on Heritage Walk.
